Splash Into the Fun in Niagara Falls
Are you looking for a great vacation in southern Ontario? Check out one of the waterparks in Niagara Falls. There are 3 large waterparks to choose from. They are all indoor waterparks and are open for year round fun! All three of these waterparks are great for all ages and have rooms to accommodate family sizes big and small.
Americana Resort and Waterpark
Our family has been to Americana a few times. It is a lot of fun for all ages but would be more geared to kids under 10. The waterpark is located within the hotel and there are so many rooms to choose from. There are standard hotel rooms and larger rooms with bunk beds for larger families.
There is a Boston Pizza on site and that is the only restaurant option. However there are plenty of restaurants a short drive away and there are food delivery options available too. Within the waterpark area there is a restaurant and pool bar to grab a bite to eat in between splashing in the water.
The waterpark has a great toddler aged area with slides perfect for their size. A fun splash pad area with a large tipping bucket. The waterslides are a lot of fun there are 4 large water slides. There are also smaller ones for younger children.
If you are visiting during the nicer weather there is a great playground outside for added fun when wanting to get some fresh air.
Fallsview Waterpark
This is a great waterpark for those wanting to stay and play where all the action is in Niagara Falls. This waterpark is just off of Clifton Hill. The waterpark is not within a hotel but there are a few hotels with direct access to the waterpark that offer waterpark and hotel packages.
Fallsview waterpark has a lot of slides for various thrill levels- 16 slides in all. It has a great kids area with slides for the younger ones as well as a large splash pad structure for the kids.
The wave pool is so much fun with a beautiful beach like entry. For added fun there is a heated outdoor pool open year round. There is also a dry land playground which is a great break for the water for the little ones. It is on the second level where there is also a restaurant to grab lunch. There are many tables on this level to enjoy your food and keep an eye the kids playing on the structure.
Great Wolf Lodge
Great Wolf Lodge is a popular waterpark with locations all over North America. The Niagara Falls location is the only one within Canada. Great Wolf lodge gives a resort vibe to visitors. Similar to Americana Resort there are rooms from a basic hotel room to large suites for big families and even a cottage. 
There are many activities on site for kids to enjoy. There is a wizards game throughout the hotel with different challenges for different levels. An arcade on site is a great way to have some fun when not swimming.
One of our favorite amenities of Great Wolf lodge is the option to add on food for your stay. You can add as many meals as you want for the number of days that you are staying. Though it can be pricey it is nice not having to worry about where you are getting your food. The location is out of the way and there is not much close by in terms of food.
There are fun characters throughout the hotel, and even a nightly story time with the woodland creatures.
The waterpark has it all. Slides for young and old, a lazy river, splash pad and toddler slides. There are a few obstacle courses that are a lot of fun. Lily pads in a pool and a rope monkey bar course to try and run across the pool.
