Our family loves to travel and one of our most visited places is Disney World.  We have been traveling to Disney World for more than 10 years and have had babies all the way to teens with us.  We have learned what is truly needed to help your trip be the most magical it can be.

1. A Good Backpack https://amzn.to/4q7nZxtdisney, florida, magic kingdom, orlando, disneyland, disney, disney, disney, disney, disney, orlando, orlando, disneyland, disneyland, disneyland

This backpack is a good pick because of its size.  It will hold what you need while not giving more space than what is needed.  It has breathable fabric on the back to try to help a bit of sweating as you walk through the parks on those hot Florida Days.  This one also has a spot for a phone charger, though it would have to be charged prior to use if using this feature of the bag.

2. Ponchos https://amzn.to/3KLJvYx

Heading to Disney without a poncho is a pretty big risk.  You might be thinking, I will just grab some at the park if it rains.  In our experience the rain in Florida comes on FAST and it can pass just as fast.  Disney World does sell ponchos but they are very expensive and do the exact same thing as ones bought before getting to the park.

** Tip throw in some plastic bags to put your wet ponchos in if you plan to keep them**

3. Cooling Towels https://amzn.to/46QmBb8

Even though it is common for there to be rain at Disney it also gets very hot and the rain doesn’t help cool it off very much.  These cooling towels are great for cooling down. Throw them in the freezer or ice water before heading out and then into the carrying bag that can clip right on to your back pack.  These have worked great for us and do a pretty good job keeping you cool.

4. Autograph Books https://amzn.to/4q9HZzo

Kids and adults alike love to get autographs from the Disney Characters.  They are really pricey to buy at the park so be sure to grab one before heading to the park.  Keeping these in a front pouch of your bag makes for quick access when visiting the characters.

5. Markers for Autographs https://amzn.to/3J2efUD

Make sure you throw in something to write with for your autograph books.  Always be sure to pack more than one- we always seem to lose pens throughout the day.  Bring a variety of colors for your book to look more unique.

6. Portable Phone Charger https://amzn.to/473fjzt

You don’t want your device losing power while enjoying the parks.  Grab one of these and make sure to charge it before heading out.  This one has multiple different sizes of chargers which is great for multiple devices.

7. Hand Sanitizer and Wipes

It doesn’t matter how old you get everyone has times where they need to wipe their hands.  Though there are plenty of bathrooms around it is good to carry some with you at all times.

8. Sun Protection

The Florida sun gets pretty hot, be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen and hats for the whole family.

9. Stroller Clip https://amzn.to/47lVEfr

These are great for strollers but can be used for a backpack as well.  When you use one of these you can clip water bottles, hats and Disney Popcorn buckets to them so everyone can remain hands free.

10. Water Bottles https://amzn.to/4mVLy9D

Stainless steel is our choice for the theme parks because if they drop then they won’t break.  Make sure you have a top that has a spot to connect to your clip.

We hope this list helps you to have a magical day at Disney World.  For more family travel tips and ideas be sure to check out Blog – Together We Can Travel.
