Family Family Hotels in Ontario

Are you and your family looking for a little fun away from the hustle and bustle.  Ontario has so many great hotels to choose from that are fun for the whole family.

Lamplighter Inn London, Ontario

This is a family favorite of ours.  This hotel offers many different variety of room sizes to suite every family size.  Our favorite is to get a room with an atrium view, preferably that walks right out into the atrium.  The atrium is a large heated area where the pool is.  There are many tables and sitting areas with beautiful trees and gardens around to admire.

The pool area boasts a large pool with a shallow end as well as a bit of a deeper end.  There is a hot tub and a waterfall that just adds to the beauty of this area.  Our kids favorite part of this pool area is the waterslide.  Smaller kids are not able to ride on the slide but it is perfect for kids about 4 years and older.  As you splash into the pool the water

Blue Mountain Resort, Ontario

Blue Mountain Resort offers so many amenities for your summer adventure.  The accommodations are plenty at the resort.  From typical hotel rooms to two and three bedroom suites and even condos there is room for everyone.

Most of the hotels at Blue Mountain have access to a pool onsite.  Blue Mountain also has a small waterpark in the Village Called The Plunge.  This is good for kids about aged 10 and under.

There are so many dining options and shops and usually live entertainment in the village that will keep you entertained for your whole trip.  If you are staying at the Blue Mountain resort you will also get access to their private beach that is for resort guests only.  Enjoy a dip in Georgian Bay and enjoy all the amenities of this beach.

Deerhurst Resort, Hunstville

This hotel is one of our family favorites.  It is a bit of a journey to get there are it is in Northern Ontario but the views as you travel are beautiful.  This resort boasts rooms for families of all sizes in one of its many buildings.  There are common rooms in the buildings if you are looking for some more space to gather with your group.

There are multiple dining options but you can also head into Hunstville for more options.

During the winter months there is one large indoor pool with a hot tub.  The shape of this pool allows for many people to be enjoying it without feeling that it is too busy.  In the summer there are outdoor pool as well as the beach down at the lake.  Many amenities at the beach are included in your stay so be sure to check these out.

This resort also has indoor activities to keep you busy.  There is a rock climbing wall and indoor golf simulator.  There is an redemption arcade for the gamers in your family.  And our family favorite is the indoor playground.  Our kids spend hours in here playing- such a great part of the hotel.

Embassy Suites, Niagara Falls

When we stay in Niagara Falls we like to have a view of the Falls.  We have stayed in many fallsview hotels but this is by far our favorite.  The views from this hotel are just breathtaking.  I love grabbing a coffee from the Starbucks in the lobby and heading up to my room to watch the falls from the room.

The rooms are spacious for families of all sizes and some even come with a jetted tub for added relaxation.  This hotel offers a complimentary breakfast which is so delicious.  There is also an evening reception with snacks and drinks that are also complimentary.

The indoor pool is very large allowing the kids to swim without being too bothersome to the adults.

It is a bit away from the action but it is easy to hop onto a bus to head to a Casino or down to Clifton Hill.
