Our family loves the busy atmosphere of Disney parks and just Disney in general.  But Vero Beach offers a laid-back atmosphere where your family can unwind and enjoy quality time together but still with a Disney feel. The resort boasts a beautiful beach area with soft sand and calm waters that are perfect for kids of all ages to play safely. With fewer crowds, families can experience the magic of Disney’s exceptional hospitality in a more relaxed setting. Plus, the resort’s beautiful natural surroundings — including nature trails and protected wildlife areas — provide a peaceful backdrop for outdoor adventures.

Accommodations

 The resort features many spacious accommodations designed with families in mind. From standard rooms to larger suites and villas with fully equipped kitchens, there’s something to fit every family’s needs. Having kitchenettes and laundry facilities right in your room can make traveling with young children easier and more convenient, allowing you to stick to schedules and prepare quick meals. Our family of 6 spent two nights in a 2 bedroom villa with a full kitchen and laundry and it was perfect for us.

To avoid long waits, it’s a good idea to make dining reservations ahead of time, especially during peak travel times.  There is a small shop that has the basic grocery essentials.  This resort is a bit of a drive to a store but if you wanted to head off the resort there are plenty of other options in a 10-15min drive.
