I am a dance mom with 4 competitive dancers- comp season is BUSY!  Really the entire dance season is busy if I am being honest but getting ready for and actually getting through comp season is hard!  Over the years I have become more and more prepared to help these long weekends go just a bit more smooth.

Having everything that you may need is key!  This is my must have list of essentials that is beyond the makeup to help your dancer and you survive the comp

This is key- having the right bag makes all the difference.  You want one bag to hold all of your costumes, shoes and makeup kit (depending on the size).  Ensuring a good handle and wheels will help with the travel to and from the venue.

This bag is a game changer.  It is on wheels to help with all of the things you are trying to get into the competition.  InFlat lay image of various hair care products and tools on a textured fabric surface. addition to all of your costumes, shoes and makeup you will need a lot of other items to get through the competition.  This bag can hold it all.  From hair accessories, to snacks, extra clothes and stretching items your dancer may need to prep for their dances.

Cordless Hair Straightener: https://amzn.to/3NsuSdY

Changerooms at most of the dance competitions are pretty small.  Once you get all of the dancers in and their moms there is pretty limited space.  Table space and plugs are even more limited.  This cordless hair straightener is a must have to ensure perfect hair every time.  Be sure to charge it the night before to make sure you have it when you need it.

These days can be really long.  Your dancer may have a long wait between dances these booties will keep their feet warm and ready to go.  As an added bonus it keeps them protected from things they might step in on the floor.  One of my dancers stepped on an earring once!
