When you are planning your family Disney trip and thinking of where to dine Garden Grill in Epcot should be on your list. One of our favorite parts about character dining at Disney World is that we are able to eat delicious food and get those character books signed all in one! There is no line waiting for these characters.
Disney World has a lot of buffet experiences but Garden Grill is an all you care to enjoy restaurant that is table service. The characters are so much fun! Check out Pluto, Mickey and even Chip & Dale!
Location & Timing
Garden Gill is nestled inside The Land Pavilion, Garden Grill opens for breakfast (8am) and lunch/dinner—book 60 days out via My Disney Experience since characters sell out fast. It is easy to find within the park so it maximizes park time without wasting dining credits on mediocre buffets. An added benefit is that on a rainy day or in extreme heat it is nice to get inside in a large air conditioned and dry space.
A Rotating View
Not only is this restaurant full of fun with characters it also has a unique rotating touch. The dining area is on top of a large rotating turntable. This in itself makes it a really unique dining experience for your family. One minute you are looking by the entrance and the next you are are facing the back of the restaurant.
Garden Grill offers panoramic views of The Land’s living greenhouses and aquaponics. Don’t worry when you are sitting enjoying your meal with your family you really don’t notice the movement. We were a bit concerned about this with our family because we have a child that gets motion sickness but it didn’t bother anyone!
Delicious Menus
The menu offers a delicious all you can enjoy family style dining experience. Some of the options include:
-
Breakfast: Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, skillet potatoes, sausage patties, fresh fruit, yogurt parfait
-
