SeaWorld Orlando: Ultimate Family Adventure Guide Ride at Seaworld.

Our family is from Ontario, Canada and we love to travel.  And we love to travel to Florida and take in theme parks, sunshine or jump on a cruise.  One of our family adventures in Florida was visiting Sea World.  We have 4 kids of varying ages so when we plan our trips it can be tricky to make sure they all have fun.  But Sea World hit all the boxes for us!

There are so many thrilling rides that the older kids love but also lots of animal encounters for those wanting to take a break from all of the action.  The animal encounters are really exciting for the younger ones.

If weather is an issue- there are indoor exhibits that get you out of the rain or even cool temperatures depending on the time of year that you go.

Must-See Animal Encounters

Child looking at Dolphin at Sea World.Dolphin Cove lets families feed friendly dolphins while learning conservation facts.  The kids will love watching the dolphins swim around- our kids loved this!

Penguin Trek and Rescue Junior highlight adorable penguins and sea lion pups through touch pools and talks.   In total there are over 15 animal encounters at Sea World to take in.  In addition to seeing really cool animals you will also learn lots about them too- education while on vacation!

There are so many shows to take in too.  The Orca show is truly amazing.  Arrive early to make sure you get a spot.  If you don’t want to get wet then stay clear of the splash zone!  We packed ponchos just to be safe- and though we were just behind the splash zone we still got pretty wet!

Rides for All Ages

Sea World offers rides for every level of thrill seeker.  For the youngest ones there is a Sesame Street Land.  Now for my kids

Ride at Sea World.

I felt a little bad because they really didn’t know much about Sesame Street- so plan ahead if you kids don’t know what it is.  Even though they didn’t know Sesame Street they still had so much fun with everything that was offered.

From twists and turns to soaking wet drops the rides were a blast!  We went just after Christmas so it was a pretty busy time to go.  That being said it was not as busy as Universal and Disney would have been.

Planning Tips

In terms of budgeting, Sea World was less expensive than Disney or Universal but because we went around Christmas the savings wasn’t quite as much as it could have been. We found the food to be relatively affordable with plenty of options for everyone.  Our younger kids often share a meal because they won’t finish a big meal.

Sea World offers multipack tickets that you can use at any of their parks.  This includes Sea World, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, there are often sales for these tickets.
